FRÄNKISCHE Group donates fire engine for Ukraine

After many years of loyal service for the plant fire department, the FRÄNKISCHE Group's fire-fighting vehicle will extinguish fires in Ukraine in the future.

In order to support the fire departments in Ukraine, the FRÄNKISCHE Group has responded to the call for donations from the Bavarian State Fire Brigade Association and donated its decommissioned TLF 16/25 fire engine. For 25 years, the vehicle was used by the plant fire department at the Königsberg site - in addition to operations on the company premises, it was also used for emergencies in the region.

Julius Kirchner (Managing Partner FRÄNKISCHE Group) bid farewell to the members of the plant fire department who brought the vehicle to the Polish border, where it was received by Ukrainian firefighters: “I am very pleased that the vehicle will continue to be used and that we can use it to help people who really need it.”
Packed with 15 tons of equipment, 18 other vehicles made their way to Ukraine alongside the FRÄNKISCHE Group vehicle.
