FRÄNKISCHE receives SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT prize

| by Frauke Barnofsky

More than 900 young people have successfully completed their apprenticeship at FRÄNKISCHE in the last 50 years. In order to give pupils an insight into the world of work as early as possible, arouse their interest and successfully retain them in the region, the company regularly organizes various events in close cooperation with regional schools. For this commitment, FRÄNKISCHE has now been awarded the “This has potential!” prize by the SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT network and took first place in the “SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT companies/large companies” category.

Matthias Tusche, Head of Training, and Tamara Müller, Head of Apprenticeship at FRÄNKISCHE, accepted the award in Berlin. It was presented by State Secretary Michael Kellner. “The amount of digital information on educational and career opportunities for young people is constantly growing - but the best way for them to find out which path really suits them is in practice. That's why there needs to be greater cooperation between schools and businesses,” emphasized the jury.

About the SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT network

The SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT network stands for partnership-based cooperation between schools and businesses - regionally anchored, nationally networked. It brings schools and companies together so that young people can make a successful transition into the world of work and companies can secure the next generation of employees. The SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT network awarded the “Das hat Potenzial!” prize, which is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, for the eleventh time this year: In the “Company” category, companies that are active in the SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT network and that impress with their special commitment to career guidance are honored.
