Light + Building: The megatrends firmly in view
| by Anika Faber
With its system solutions for the mobility transition, energy transition and digitalization, FRÄNKISCHE has answers to the key issues of the future. At light + building 2024, the electrical expert presented its eFlex charging station, which is tested for lightning and surge protection in the overall system. Other highlights include the eFlex foundation conduit solution as a system add-on, innovations in the eco-balanced product portfolio and an expansion of the digital conduit configurator.
“With our new products and system solutions in the field of electrical installation, we are supporting current megatrends such as broadband expansion, digitalization, the mobility and energy transition. As the new division manager, I am looking forward to continuing to drive these key topics forward in the future,” says Frank Rauterkus, head of the Electrical Systems division at FRÄNKISCHE. “A future-proof electrical installation enables flexibility and easy retrofitting of new technologies or developments.”
FRÄNKISCHE also focused on the next generation in the electrical trade at light + building: In the workshop street, trainees learned everything about the professional installation of electrical installation conduits and were able to test the pull-in properties of electrical installation conduits in practical exercises.
System for the charging infrastructure: safe and flexible
Strong together for the mobility transition: At the international industry get-together, the electrical expert presented a safe and sustainable charging system in a partner network to the expert audience. The system around FRÄNKISCHE's eFlex charging station guarantees lightning and surge protection - from the foundation to the wallbox. This was confirmed by the independent, accredited test laboratory of DEHN in a test report.
In addition, a new foundation solution completes the eFlex system. In future, FRÄNKISCHE will thus offer empty conduits, foundations and pedestals from a single source - components for a safe charging and cable infrastructure for electromobility in accordance with the German Building Electromobility Infrastructure Act (GEIG). The system extension avoids the sealing of surfaces and provides space for the electrical installation conduits for the seamless transition of the infrastructure for power and data into the pedestal. At the same time, it enables simple, fast, secure and straight fastening of the charging pedestal. The components of the eFlex foundation conduit solution are stock items at FRÄNKISCHE, so that electrical wholesalers benefit from fast availability.
Expansion of the eco-balanced co2ntrol series
FRÄNKISCHE is committed to greater sustainability in the construction industry: The Kabuflex R plus 450 co2ntrol corrugated conduit expands the co2ntrol family with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). In addition, the FFKuS-EM-F-105 co2ntrol electrical installation conduit made from reclaimed plastic replaces the standard product made from virgin plastic. It conforms to standards and has the same properties as the product made from virgin material. The electrical installation conduits in the growing eco-balanced “co2ntrol” product line can be used in all areas - in the ground, concrete and screed as well as surface-mounted, flush-mounted or in cavity walls.
Plan with the pipe configurator, order from the dealer
A technical enhancement to the conduit configurator simplifies requirements planning and wholesale ordering of electrical installation conduits. Thanks to the implementation of the ELBRIDGE 1.0 digital interface, users can now access the conduit configurator from the desired wholesale store at www.leerrohrberater.de. The free tool enables individual empty conduit advice and standard-compliant occupancy recommendations. Users can transfer the project list compiled there to the shopping cart in the dealer store.
Broadband expansion, energy transition and future-proof construction
FRÄNKISCHE addressed the focus topic of broadband expansion at the light + building trade fair with the Fibre net microduct system and the FFKu-Smart net electrical installation conduit. The future-oriented components provide the high-speed, physical, passive network infrastructure required by the DigiNetz Act. Renewable energies were also a central topic at the Frankfurt industry get-together: FRÄNKISCHE supports the energy transition with its cable conduits for photovoltaic systems. With the use of proven sealing products, buildings are safe for the future - for current and future environmental influences.
